Vicki Huffman

I’m interested in finding out more about becoming a leader in my community in response to a FB post. I suffered from depression for over 40 years leading to a breakdown and hospitalization in 2014. I’ve since recovered, become an author/speaker on overcoming depression, and have included your resources on my website – https://sadnesstojoy.com/. I’ve had to step away from my mission in order to deal with my mothers failing health over the past year and COVID putting a stop to in person events, but I’m working to restart my efforts this fall.

I lost my brother-in-law to suicide in April, 2019. My niece has been participating in Project Semicolon events and fundraisers in the St. Louis area which I’ve supported from afar.

It’s time for me to step up in my community now.
