There is no perfect way to start. Here is what an easy first step can look like.
Pick an event or activity that sounds comfortable enough to try.
You do not have to work the room. One or two new faces is plenty.
Come back, help with something, or simply stay connected. There is no rush.
AWARENESS CAN BE CREATIVE
Some of the most memorable chapter work starts with a simple idea students can see, join, and share.
Paint small rocks with semicolons and messages of hope, then place them around campus for students to find.
Fill a visible campus space with supportive messages, art, and conversation starters.
Bring students together for a visible walk centered on connection, remembrance, and hope.
Create a nighttime gathering with glow elements, temporary semicolon tattoos, music, and community.
START SOMEWHERE
You can always do more later. Begin with the part that feels useful to you now.
