A familiar face
Someone arrives at a gathering alone and finds a person who remembers their name the next time they meet.
Change on campus can start with one invitation, one honest conversation, or one easier path to support. These are the moments our chapter works to make possible.

A chapter cannot tell anyone what their experience should be. It can help create conditions where connection feels a little more possible. We look for change in ordinary campus moments, not just in big events.
Someone arrives at a gathering alone and finds a person who remembers their name the next time they meet.
A casual “How are you?” can become a conversation with space for the real answer, if someone wants to give it.
A student who wants support knows where to start looking and feels more comfortable asking questions about the options.
A student’s sketch, walk, or conversation idea becomes a shared campus moment that someone else can join.
Our activities are different ways to open the same door: make connection easier to find in the places students already share.

Walking side by side can take the pressure off a first conversation. A student can come to talk, listen, or simply be with others for a while.
A message made together can give someone a reason to pause. It can also give a student who prefers making over speaking a way to contribute.
Conversation over coffee or at an open meeting helps turn a chapter from a name on a page into people you can meet.
Impact is more than a head count. What matters is whether students find the space useful, welcoming, and worth returning to.
We can ask what helped someone feel comfortable at a gathering, notice which activities make it easier to take part, and listen when a student points out a gap. Then we can change how we invite, plan, and show up. That kind of learning keeps the chapter shaped by the people it is here for.
We will share real chapter results when there is evidence to share. For now, these are the changes we are working toward and the questions that guide us.
